She Missed Graduation While Detained

18-year-old Ariadna Zumba was detained by ICE in April and held for 52 days at Delaney Hall, despite having Special Immigrant Juvenile Status and no criminal record. After pressure from her family, advocates, and members of Congress, she was released in June. She finally received her high school diploma in August after missing her senior prom and graduation ceremony while in detention.
