🟢 THE STORY OF BRIAN'S ECLIPSE

Before the orange Supra...

Before the Skyline GT-R...

Before Brian O'Conner became permanently associated with some of the most legendary Japanese cars in movie history...

There was the Mitsubishi Eclipse.

Brian's bright green Eclipse became one of the defining cars of the original The Fast and the Furious.

It represented Brian at the beginning of his journey into Los Angeles street-racing culture.

The wild graphics, huge rear wing and unmistakable early-2000s tuner styling made the Eclipse impossible to forget.

And then came Brian's first major street race.

He lined up against Dom and the other racers, desperate to prove that he belonged.

Brian pushed the Eclipse hard...

Too hard.

After the race, Brian famously realizes just how badly he underestimated the level of competition.

But that race wasn't really about winning.

It was the beginning of Brian and Dom's entire story.

Later, the Eclipse met a much more violent end when Johnny Tran's crew attacked it.

The green Mitsubishi was destroyed.

And Brian needed another car.

That eventually led him to the orange Toyota Supra MK4 that would become one of the most famous cars in Fast & Furious history.

But imagine if the Eclipse had survived...

Because sitting in the opposite lane is DOM'S legend. 💀

⚫ THE STORY OF DOM'S 1970 CHARGER

The black 1970 Dodge Charger R/T wasn't just another car in Dom's garage.

It represented his father.

His past.

And eventually, his relationship with Brian.

Dom explains that his father built the Charger and that the machine produced so much torque that it twisted the chassis coming off the line.

After his father's death, Dom was reluctant to drive it.

Then everything changed near the end of the movie.

Dom finally brings the Charger out.

And beside him sits Brian.

But Brian isn't driving the Eclipse anymore.

He's driving the orange Supra.

The two race toward a railroad crossing.

The Charger launches so violently that its front wheels rise from the pavement.

A train approaches.

Neither driver lifts.

They blast across the tracks...

And moments later, Dom crashes.

Brian then makes the decision that changes their relationship forever.

Instead of handing Dom over...

he gives him the keys to the Supra.

That moment helped define the entire franchise.
