Noah Levin's talk invites us to reconsider the systems that put our food on the table. He highlights how the food sovereignty framework could serve as a more equitable and sustainable system. Noah is a Brazilian-American senior at Haverford College passionate about federal policy and food system reform. His passion for food policy extends into other work, interning with Senator Cory Booker, working on a local county’s food policy council, and creating and teaching a for-credit Haverford course on global food systems. Post-graduation, Noah hopes to work on the Hill as a federal policymaker. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
