Artem Bondarenko opened his Roshn Saudi League account with a brace against Al Fayha as his Al Ahli side emerged 3-2 winners in Al Majma'ah. Firas Al Buraikan, deputising for the injured Ivan Toney, netted from the spot.

Al Fayha's two goals came from wonderful long-range strikes by Jason and Hugo Moura but were not enough to avoid defeat.
