Former White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney comments on reports Minnesota’s Democratic candidate Ilhan Omar’s phone was seized by federal police during a raid.
“There’ve been questions about her immigration status for years now,” Mr Mulvaney told News24 Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.
“Let’s see what happens … but this woman has also said some things that raise some real legitimate questions about her immigration status, so let’s wait and see where the facts, and I mean hard facts, real facts, evidence, lead us.”
