The Italian heist: Who's stealing Italy's art? | DW News

On Saturday, a major art heist took place in Italy as thieves managed to take off with four Renaissance paintings from a museum in Messina, Sicily. Italian police said the three paintings stolen in March were recently recovered during a search of an apartment close to the museum. DW asked Arthur Brand, an expert who’s after the art and what happens to it once stolen.
