Ahead of a high-stakes summit between President Trump and President Xi, Taiwan's vice president has told Sky News the island does "not yet" have sufficient arms to defend itself.

A $14 billion arms deal for Taiwan currently remains paused by President Trump -- who has broken with precedent by directly discussing arms sales to the island with China.
