Whistleblower just BLEW UP Trump's VOTER SCHEME...

Attorneys Brian Kabateck and Shant Karnikian break down a bombshell whistleblower disclosure, released by Senators Chuck Schumer and Alex Padilla, alleging DHS ordered hundreds of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services officers to unlawfully access state voter databases in a rushed hunt for "unlawful voters" ahead of the midterms. According to the nearly 30-page disclosure, USCIS officers were pulled off their normal fraud-detection work in late August, given a single 105-minute training video, and assigned a quota of 40 voter lookups per day — about 12 minutes per person — using state election websites that require the user to falsely certify they are the voter being searched. Brian and Shant explain why this likely violates state privacy laws in places like Virginia and California, which protect voters' Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, and other identifiers, and note there's no federal-agent exception that lets DHS bypass those laws without a warrant. Brian and Shant flag the disclosure's most troubling detail: agents are creating federal law enforcement records, known as TECS records, against people flagged as "unlawful voters," even when those individuals are naturalized U.S. citizens whose federal records simply haven't caught up with their citizenship status. Schumer and Padilla, joined by sixteen other senators, have demanded DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin and USCIS Director Joseph Edlow immediately halt the program, which a DHS spokesperson defended as being "laser focused on prosecuting and removing aliens who vote." Brian's bottom line: this isn't a serious search for voter fraud, which study after study has shown barely exists — it's a rushed, amateurish, and almost certainly illegal operation designed to manufacture a pretext for challenging this November's election results.
