'Disgusting’: Elliot Page demands NYC hospitals restore gender affirming care for minors

News24 host Rita Panahi says actor Elliot Page’s call for New York City hospitals to restore gender-affirming care for minors is “absolutely disgusting”.

“The actor is now leading protests demanding New York hospitals restore so-called gender-affirming care for youngsters, aka transitioning young, confused kids with irreversible treatments and surgeries,” Ms Panahi said.

”Weren't the left claiming this wasn't even happening; it was some right-wing scare campaign? Apparently not.

“Absolutely disgusting antics from Elliot Page, trying to restore the ability of activist doctors to essentially sterilise kids. That's what happens when confused kids are medically transitioned with irreversible treatments.”
