A mudslide hit Gyirong Port in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region on August 26 after an ice-rock avalanche in Nepal. Rescuers are pushing deeper into the affected area, while the damaged roads are being cleared and restored to support the ongoing search and rescue operations. China is also taking all necessary measures to relocate and resettle those affected, provide medical treatment for the injured and prevent secondary disasters. CGTN brings you the latest.
