Cosmic Symphony: The Instruments Lost to the 2025 LA Fires | Billboard

Cosmic Symphony is a documentary about musicians who lost their instruments in the 2025 LA fires—and what it means to lose the sound that shaped their lives.
Through intimate stories of grief, memory and resilience, these artists search for what remains when the music is suddenly silent.

A piano that “felt like home.” A bass with nearly 200 years of history. A life’s work of scores, tapes, and sessions—gone in a firestorm. Featuring Starr Parodi, John Clayton and more, Cosmic Symphony explores the bond between artist and instrument, the moments before evacuation, and the community that helps carry the music forward.
