Ten years after prison, Hal Jordan (Kyle Chandler) has been back in Rushville for a while when John's mother tells him Hal wants to apologize — so she sends John to go see him. The problem: when John shows up at the diner, Hal seems genuinely surprised to see him, and whatever apology was promised never actually comes.
