Donald Trump says Russia and Ukraine have agreed to stop attacking each other’s energy infrastructure. But neither side has confirmed the deal. Could an energy ceasefire take hold as Russian strikes on Ukrainian cities continue?
At least four people were killed and around 40 injured in a Russian attack on an apartment building in Kharkiv, according to officials. Further attacks hit Kyiv and the western Lviv region.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says Ukraine has refrained from striking Russian energy facilities and is willing to support a reciprocal halt. Moscow’s commitment remains unclear.
