Trying to Make Fire with Sticks [Castaway #05]

Jin has managed to secure a small amount of water,
but surviving on the island requires much more.

This time, he leaves the forest and moves to the open beach,
collecting dry grass, bark fibers, twigs, and pieces of wood.

Using a simple wooden base and a spindle,
he makes his first attempt at creating fire by friction.

A little wood dust begins to appear,
but producing an ember is much harder than it looks.

As his hands grow tired,
Jin adjusts the materials, changes his posture,
and keeps trying.

Can he really make fire with nothing but wood and his own hands?

A quiet castaway survival story told without dialogue or music,
using only the sounds of waves, wind, sand, and natural materials.
