Could two weeks really change the future?

Co-hosted by the HKU Summer Institute (HKUSI) and the HKU School of Governance and Policy, the two-week intensive programme, Governance and Policy Leadership: Institutions, Sustainability, and Innovation, provided undergraduates with a hands-on, multidisciplinary look at real-world public policy.

As Professor Kenneth Wong, Director of the School, pointed out:

💬 "The Summer Institute is only the beginning. Because their friendship started way back at HKU 20 years ago."

The knowledge gained and friendships formed this summer will continue to empower our participants to drive innovative policy solutions and enhance the quality of life in their communities throughout their future careers.

This summer was not only about confronting real-world policy challenges head-on, but also about building the most genuine friendships. A heartfelt thank you to all our dedicated instructors and students for making this journey so intellectually vibrant and inspiring!
