Stoke City ended Watford’s unbeaten start on home soil with a dominant victory to extend their own run without defeat to four matches.

Jack McGlynn marked his maiden start in the red and white with a first-half finish into Federico Ravaglia’s top right-hand corner before Eric Bocat powered in a second in a wonderfully worked team goal prior to the hour.

Watford substitute Amin Nabizada set up a tense finish at Vicarage Road when he struck in from 20 yards in the first of six minutes added at the end of the 90.

The win, which follows ST4 successes against Norwich City and Charlton Athletic – and Tuesday’s draw at Cardiff City – sees the Potters climb into the early season top eight.
