How Ken Griffey Jr. Transcended Baseball (Mini-Movie)

The swing, the glove, the style. In the 1990s, Ken Griffey Jr. was more than just a baseball star -- he was an icon who transcended the sport.

We dug into the archives to stitch together this #minimovie, featuring rare footage, cinematic camera shots and interviews with Griffey's father, Ken Sr., and his peers including Alex Rodriguez, Jay Buhner and a host of modern baseball stars that describe how much Griffey influenced their own paths in the game.
