Underneath the tiny classic body is a heavily modified 1,914cc turbocharged engine producing more than 200 horsepower.
That might not sound extreme compared to a 2,000HP drag car, but this Fiat is incredibly small and lightweight.
When the driver launches at Santa Pod Raceway, the rear tires immediately hook and transfer the carโs weight backward.
The front wheels rise from the track.
For a moment, it looks like the Fiat might recover and continue the run.
Then everything goes wrong.
The car begins leaning toward the right side, balancing on two wheels before rolling completely onto its side and sliding down the drag strip.
