Beijing's fair highlights AI innovation, humanoid robotics & 'China service' expansion

The 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) opened with a strong focus on high-level opening up, global cooperation, and cutting-edge innovation. Gathering nearly 90 countries and international organizations alongside over 1,800 offline exhibitors—including 473 Fortune Global 500 companies and industry leaders—the event features global and national debuts from over 90 enterprises and institutions. Highlighting breakthrough advances in robotics and smart construction, the exhibition showcases AI-driven solutions transforming logistics, manufacturing, and structural engineering.

This year's CIFTIS also introduced several key milestones, including dedicated "Going Global Services" zones to support Chinese enterprises expanding overseas, as well as the inaugural "China Service" exhibition area. Highlighting 140 landmark cases across 24 provincial-level regions, state-owned enterprises, and financial institutions, the dedicated showcase emphasizes AI, large language models, and spatial data services like Beidou navigation. By combining smart hardware innovations with comprehensive service trade solutions, CIFTIS continues to reinforce China’s role as a driving force in the global digital economy.
