FC Bayern advanced confidently to the second round of the DFB Cup with a 4-1 (2-1) victory away to second-division side VfL Osnabrück on Wednesday evening. Robin Meißner gave the hosts an early lead in the fifth minute, but Harry Kane (18') and Tom Bischof (24') turned the game around before half-time. After the break, Michael Olise (73') extended Bayern’s lead before Kane converted a penalty in the 86th minute.
