Haegue Yang 양혜규 梁慧圭 / Activation of Mound Vehicles during Quasi-Heartland, CAM St.Louis, 2025

For this exhibition, CAM commissioned Yang to create a new work, _Mound Vehicles_, that responds to the Museum’s architecture and engages the region’s precolonial history and the Mississippi River landscape.

To celebrate the new commission of Mound Vehicles, the sculpture will be activated as part of CAM’s exhibition program. Local facilitators enact a series of choreographed movements to mobilize the sculpture, which last approximately 10 minutes.
