Iran's #IRGC says a #supertanker struck a naval mine south of the Strait of #Hormuz on Sunday, triggering an explosion and a fire in its engine room.
According to the IRGC, the crude oil tanker had switched off its navigation systems and attempted to leave the strait via an unauthorized route, "violating maritime regulations."
