Skimming Clearer Water with a Seashell [Castaway #04]

A tiny source of water has finally appeared on the deserted island.

Jin reinforces the fragile ground seep with small stones and waits for the shallow water to settle again.

But it still isn't something he can simply drink.

Using a small shell, he carefully skims only a tiny amount from the slightly less-cloudy upper layer and lets the sediment settle once more.

While waiting, he notices something else on the forest floor—

dry twigs and plant fibers.

Water was only the beginning.

SLOW CASTAWAY is a quiet survival animation told without dialogue or narration, using only environmental sound, small actions, and the passage of time.

In the next episode,
Jin makes his first attempt to create fire.
