AI Execs Will Self-Police

Ah yes, let’s let the folks who say a risk of their stock launch is Human Extinction to just regulate themselves. They are billionaires after all.
Following a nice little lunchy meet & greet at the White House, the conclusion the US government has come to is that all these AI companies are both 1) doing a great job at self-policing and 2) should continue to do so because they’re so good at it.
But before you think it’s all meaningless words & Truth Social posts, I’ll have you know that the CEOs of Google, Anthropic, Meta, Nvidia, OpenAI, and Twitter all signed the paper that said they’ll be good with AI and won’t do bad things and ruin society, if they can help it.
