The anti-Putin saboteur helping Ukraine from inside Russia | BBC Eye

From informants and covert networks to claims of sabotage and assassination, the war between Russia and Ukraine is increasingly being fought far from the battlefield.

Much of that shadow conflict is difficult to verify but BBC Eye has gained rare access to Russians who claim they're helping Ukraine by carrying out operations inside Russia. The BBC has confirmed they are working for Ukrainian intelligence, but has not been able to independently verify the operations they say they’ve played a role in.

For BBC World Service, this documentary is voiced by actress Saskia Reeves.
