KURASAKO Atsushi : Visualizing the "Cool Me": Turning Imagination into the Power to Move Forward
While most high school seniors in Japan were buried in textbooks, Kurasako, a student at a top school in Oita, chose a different path: Italy.
Why did he decide to study abroad during the most critical year of his academic journey?
The secret lies in his unique guiding principle — "visualizing the cool Me" In this video, he shares how the power of imagination can become the ultimate fuel for taking bold steps in life.
He has accumulated diverse experiences such as classical ballet, musical theater, piano, track and field, and literary club activities for years. He has been learning vocal music since he was 8 and came in third in the national competition.
He sang the national anthems alone in public at the Oita Prefecture Koshien preliminary match.
Last year, he studied abroad in Italy as a Rotary Youth Exchange Student.
He continues to work hard daily to become a singer. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
