I really don’t think Nvidia meant for any of this to happen. Too bad.
One of the best things to come out the Neural Rendering DLSS 5 launch was the fact that devs and modders got their hands on it, and so they can just sling it everywhere.
We’ve seen it in web browsers, on Intel, on Mac’s Apple Silicon, it’s not just locked down to RTX graphics cards.
And that included their biggest competitor, AMD, and their GPUs. But now, there’s been so many updates that it’s getting legitimately playable to have DLSS 5 running on Radeon cards.
We’re talking about 40 to 70% boosted performance in games where it makes sense to run this software, like Cyberpunk.
