Today’s journey takes us on an enchanting 1-hour evening walk through the heart of central Seoul, set beneath a dramatic, fiery sunset with blazing crimson clouds rolling across the dusk sky. We begin our stroll in Euljiro during the bustling evening rush, where the alleys are alive with office workers heading home or gathering for lively dinners. The vibrant city rhythm carries us straight into the neon-lit streets of Myeongdong, packed with lively crowds and dynamic night energy.
Leaving the bustling streetscape behind, we cross over to Deoksugung Palace, where the atmosphere shifts into complete serenity and romantic charm. By special fortune, the palace was hosting its "Night of Seokjojeon" event on this evening. Against the backdrop of softly illuminated heritage grounds, elegant classical strings resonate from the Western-style Seokjojeon hall, blending with the gentle glow of architectural lights and the peaceful palace fountain.
Wandering from the spirited pace of Euljiro and Myeongdong into the quiet elegance of Deoksugung under a burning evening sky, this walk showcases Seoul's captivating balance between modern vitality and timeless palace nights.
