Dream Teams store eventyr / Dream Team's Big Adventure

I sommer sendte Foreningen ForKBH i samarbejde med Grundfos og Grundfos Fonden vores særlige hold med superkræfter, Dream Team, afsted på deres livs rejse for at deltage i en af verdens største inklusionsturneringer, Genuine Cup i Houston, USA side om side med hold som Manchester United, Inter Miami CF og Paris Saint-Germain.

Turneringen er den eneste af sin slags i verden og har til formål at bruge fodboldens sociale sammenhængskraft til at fremme inklusion af idrætsudøvere med neuroudviklingsmæssige handikap (som eks. autisme).

Deltagelsen i Genuine Cup er det første initiativ fra F.C. Københavns nyetablerede forening, Foreningen ForKBH, der arbejder for at engagere flere børn og unge i fodboldens sammenhold på tværs af kultur og baggrund.

Foreningen er almennyttig og selvstændig, og netop det faktum gør det muligt for the Torras Foundation at støtte det danske hold med en særlig donation, der dækker alle omkostninger - herunder flyrejser, overnatning, måltider og lokal transport samt deltagelse i turneringen.

Med deltagelsen i Genuine Cup ønsker F.C. København og Foreningen ForKBH at vise, hvordan fodbold kan bidrage til social inklusion, samhørighed og store oplevelser – uanset hvilke forudsætninger og hvilken baggrund man har.

This summer, the ForKBH Association, in collaboration with Grundfos and the Grundfos Foundation, sent our special team with superpowers, the Dream Team, on the journey of their lives to participate in one of the world's largest inclusion tournaments, the Genuine Cup in the USA.

The ForKBH Association has received the invitation based on F.C. Copenhagen's unique collaboration with Høje Taastrup Parasport and the Dream Team - a football team for children and young people with disabilities and special needs.

With its participation, F.C. Copenhagen will amplify our message: Football is for everyone, and sport is a universal right.

Participation in the Genuine Cup is the first initiative from F.C. Copenhagen's newly established association, ForKBH Association, which works to engage more children and young people in the unity of football across cultures and backgrounds.

The association is non-profit and independent, and precisely this fact makes it possible for the Torras Foundation to support the Danish team with a special donation that covers all costs - including flights, accommodation, meals and local transport, as well as participation in the tournament.

By participating in the Genuine Cup, F.C. Copenhagen and the ForKBH Association will demonstrate how football can contribute to social inclusion, cohesion and great experiences – regardless of your background or circumstances.
