장한나 작가(@new___rock)의 인터뷰를 통해 작업 세계와 전시 이야기를 만나보세요.
작가는 사람의 손길로 다양한 식물이 자라나는 온실 곳곳에, 인간이 버린 플라스틱이 암석화된 새로운 물질 ‘뉴 락(New Rock)’을 작품으로 선보입니다.
‘지금의 인간은 이 세계에 무엇을 남기고 있는가’라는 질문을 던지며, 인간이 만든 것과 자연이 만든 것이 서로 영향을 주고받으며 닮아가는 현상을 보여줍니다. 작품은 온실의 열대관과 지중해관에 걸쳐 총 다섯 곳에서 만날 수 있습니다.

🎞️Artist Interview | Chang Hanna

Discover artist Chang Hanna(@new___rock)’s artistic practice and the exhibition through her interview.
Throughout the conservatory, where a variety of plants grow under human care, the artist presents works made from New Rock, a new material created by transforming discarded human-made plastic into rock.
By asking, “What are humans leaving behind in this world today?”, the artist explores how human-made and natural materials influence one another and gradually come to resemble each other. The works can be found at five locations across the Tropical and Mediterranean Zones of the conservatory.
