Labor’s budget blunder exposed as Treasury modelling ‘clearly wrong’

​News24 host Sharri Markson says Labor’s modelling is “clearly” wrong, as consequences of their tax hikes seem to have been severely underestimated.

​“The CBA is the latest major financial institution to declare we're facing a housing correction, and today the treasurer wouldn't rule out a housing crash,” Ms Markson said.

​“It underestimated just how the market would react to the scrapping of negative gearing and capital gains tax.”
