Drawing from his journey from a below-average student to an entrepreneur and education innovator, Purnachandra Rao Narra shares the struggles, risks and turning points that shaped his path.
He challenges the conventional idea of scaling as merely growing revenues or businesses, arguing that its real measure lies in the confidence we create in people.

Shri Purnachandra Rao Narra is a focus-driven entrepreneur, educator, and IIM Ahmedabad alumnus. Coming from a humble background and educated in a government school in Andhra Pradesh, he began his career with Reliance Group and The Times of India before becoming a first-generation entrepreneur.
Driven by a deep passion for teaching, he founded Resonance in Hyderabad in 2018. Under his leadership, Resonance has grown into one of the most trusted education brands in the Telugu-speaking states, spanning junior colleges, schools, integrated programs, and e-learning. Today, Resonance trains 20,000+ students annually across a 50+ campus network. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
