In an entertaining game at Emirates Stadium, we defeated Italian side Como 1907 4-3 on penalties following a 1-1 draw in normal time. Myles Lewis-Skelly opened the scoring before Martin Baturina equalised before the half-time break.

After the game ended in a tie, Martin Odegaard, Kai Havertz, Bruno Guimaraes and Christos Tzolis netted, with David Raya returning from winning the World Cup to make two penalty shootout saves.
