Albanese flees the country to see the King as Aussie families hit with another rate rise

News24 host Chris Kenny criticises Prime Minister Anthony Albanese for fleeing the country amid yet another interest rate rise that puts Australian families under more pressure.

“He’s been swanning around at the cricket and out on the yacht of billionaire political interloper Twiggy Forrest and, of course, tugging at the forelock before the King,” Mr Kenny said.

“Even though the prime minister’s on the other side of the world, he’s up to his usual tricks. Saying one thing, then denying it just minutes later.

“Trying to duck the blame for inflation and interest rate rises.”
