A new report finds the pay gap between CEOs and employees moved up sharply in 2025, with top executives making 325 times more than the typical worker. Since 1978, CEO compensation has increased by over 1,300% while worker pay has risen just 28%.
This comes as a separate survey of US mayors reveals that 93% of residents feel the cost of living has worsened over the past year, with many struggling to afford housing, groceries, and childcare.
