“A key role of a school is to nurture the character of its students.” 🎓
Meet Sharon Adebola, a King’s College London alumna, graduate of the King’s Pathway to Governance Programme, and one of the UK’s youngest school governors.
Passionate about giving back to her community, Sharon believes young people should have a voice in shaping the education they experience.
Now serving as a school governor in Camden, Sharon advocates for students, listens to their concerns and works to help create environments where young people can flourish beyond the classroom.
Through the Pathway to Governance Programme, delivered by King’s Volunteering in partnership with Governors for Schools, Sharon developed the skills and confidence to step into education governance and bring a fresh perspective to school leadership.
Her journey highlights the impact that young leaders can make when they step forward and help shape the future of education.
