New details are emerging over the investigation into Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar after federal agents raided her home on Monday.
Several of the US official’s family members have been subpoenaed, including her sister, as the FBI looks into possible fraud in her immigration paperwork.
This comes as the surprise federal raid on Ms Omar’s residence is raising new questions about her citizenship status.
Federal investigators are reportedly reviewing discrepancies in her immigration paperwork, including her age and whether she qualified for derivative citizenship when her father became a US citizen in 2000.
