올해 김장할 배추가 무름병과 진드기로 절반이상을 뽑아버렸네요. 농약을 안치니 그런가봐요. 정성껏 기른 배추인데 너무 아깝네요. 배추 뽑은자리에 대파를 심었는데.... 실수로 한쪽에 뽑아놨던 쪽파를 다시 심었네요...아~이런 실수를.. 다시뽑고 대파를 심었어요.
More than half of the napa cabbages I was growing for this year’s *kimjang* (kimchi-making season) had to be pulled out due to soft rot and aphid infestations—I suppose that’s what happens when you don’t use pesticides. It’s such a shame, especially since I had put so much care into growing them. I meant to plant large green onions in the spots where the cabbages had been, but by mistake, I ended up planting the *jjokpa* (scallions/chives) I had previously pulled up instead.
