Location : Gwacheon National Science Museum
Sardines, one of the weakest beings in the underwater ecosystem, protect themselves with a flock, a grouping activity.
Made with kinect and projection mapping, the work brings together the rhythmic and diverse moments of sardines through realtime interaction.
Through this, the artist attempted to draw various forms of solidarity in the media.
창작의도
바닷속 생태계에서 가장 연약한 존재 중 하나인 정어리는 Flock 즉 무리를 이루는 행위로 스스로를 지켜낸다. kinect와 projection mapping 으로 제작된 이 작품은 realtime interaction을 통해 정어리가 그리는 율동적이고 다양한 순간을 관객이 함께하게 된다.
이를 통해 작가는 미디어 속에서 다양하게 연대하는 현시대의 모습을 그려보고자 했다.
