“Hello.” Meet the Creators focuses on creators from around the world who are pioneering new visual experiences with Alpha.
In this video, we introduce Surabaya, Indonesia–based photographer Widya Indah Nurmalasari.
Creator Profile
Widya Indah Nurmalasari — Professional landscape photographer
A photograph is a feeling.
It is a story we long to share—one through which others can see and feel everything we have poured into a single image.
Inspired by those closest to her—especially her parents and the people around her—Widya continues to shape her creative journey.
As a female photographer, Widya is passionate about encouraging other women to pursue photography. She believes that women have the same talent and potential as men—so don’t be afraid to start, keep growing, and trust the process. For her, true progress comes not from results alone, but from the journey itself.
For Widya, a Sony camera is more than just a camera.
It is a creative partner—helping her capture moments, climb mountains, chase light, and transform her ideas into powerful visual stories.
Discover the stories she brings to life through her lens.
Equipment
All of her works in this video were captured using Sony Alpha 7R V camera, together with the FE 14mm F1.8 GM, FE 16-35mm F2.8 GM II, FE 24-70mm F2.8 GM II and FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM OSS II.
