A flight bound for Tel Aviv, Israel, with about 170 people on board issued a hijack alert after one pilot reportedly stabbed another, and tried to crash the plane.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said the pilot was arrested after the flight made an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia.
Defence Minister Israel Katz has claimed the incident was an "attempted jihadist terror attack".
The airline, Flydubai, has confirmed that an altercation took place on the flight deck, but says the motives aren't yet known. Passengers have now been flown to Ben Gurion Airport on another Flydubai plane (pictured).
