What better way to capture autumn than to paint it?
In Shenlongwan Village, tucked deep in the Taihang Mountains of Shanxi Province, dramatic cliffs, tranquil waters and traditional stone houses create a scene worthy of a painting.
As autumn colors spread across the surrounding hills, visitors arrive with sketchbooks and cameras, turning the village into an open-air studio and capturing its beauty on paper and through the lens.
Recognized as a traditional Chinese village, Shenlongwan has received a cumulative 200,000 tourist visits to date. Its scenic setting is also helping draw visitors and create new opportunities for the local community.
