The Storm is a tense, character-driven dark comedy set during Filip’s 45th birthday dinner at a lavish newly purchased farm in northern Sweden. When a violent storm hits, trapping Filip and his closest friends inside, their polished facades quickly crumble, buried secrets surface, and raw emotions erupt as the gravity of the situation becomes impossible to ignore.
The Storm is written and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Josephine Bornebusch, produced by WBITVP Sweden and features a starstudded cast such as Gustaf Skarsgård, Aliette Opheim, Filip Berg, Josephine Bornebusch, Jonas Karlsson, Johan Rheborg, Christopher Wagelin, Sara Shirpey, Gizem Erdogan, Henrik Dorsin, Nils Wetterholm, and Nicole Levin.

The film is set to premiere globally on Netflix on October 15, 2026.
