The show has drawn criticism for portraying "Chinese operatives" using torture methods that mirror the atrocities committed by the Imperial Japanese Army against Chinese resistance fighters.

And it's not an isolated concern. From AI-generated videos distorting wartime history to politicians visiting Yasukuni Shrine and textbooks downplaying Japan's wartime aggression, the line between aggressor and victim is being blurred, responsibility is being diluted, and the truth is being quietly rewritten.

This is where we must draw the line: You can rewrite a script or generate a thousand AI videos, but you cannot rewrite historical truth.
