We all have called the government a number of colourful names at some point and most people mainly seem to focus on the negative aspects of a politicians career, painting most in a bad light. However, we largely do not apply the same attitudes to companies that arguably have the same influence and power as governments. So what if companies were running our governments. Would we be better off? Jemima Gray is a student in the Lower Sixth studying Politics, English and History of Art. She hopes to study Politics and International Relations at university and has a particular interest in how governments define their international identity and their subsequent influence in global politics This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
