The owner was the first Japanese designer to win Hat Designer of the Year from a British hat publication back in 2008, and some of you might also remember the Engineered Garments × Yokkoyama Hat collaboration.
We feel like even a lot of New Yorkers still do not know about this place, so we have been wanting to share this true hidden gem. 💎

We own a few hats from here ourselves and wear them all the time. Most of the casual styles are around $40–50, so it is an easy place to browse, pick one up for yourself, or grab a gift.
And this is not just a hat shop carrying different brands. They actually make the hats themselves, and they have been holding it down at the same spot for over 10 years. Respect.
And the little lady who makes us smile every time we stop by? Apparently, you can catch her there on weekends. 🥹

저희도 여기 모자 몇개 있는데 증말 잘쓰고다니구요,
가격도 4-50불 선이라 구경하고 하나씩 사가거나 선물하기도 좋습니다.
그냥 모자편집샵이 아니고 직접 만드는 곳인데, 한자리에서만 10년을 버틴 곳이니 리스펙...
