Construction on the new AMR I Residence Hall & Dining Replacement Project has already begun, but a symbolic groundbreaking celebration recently took place to mark the first new housing and dining project in forty years on the Johns Hopkins University Homewood campus. Speakers included a current resident advisor and leadership from the university who took to the stage to discuss what this new residence hall and dining facility will mean to students of the future. The new facility will provide 120,000 square feet of living space for 400 first-year students, which doubles the capacity of the previous AMR I. With these updated facilities comes new possibilities: new spaces to connect, work together, and thrive.
