New signing Iliman Ndiaye has expressed his joy at sealing a summer transfer deadline day move to the Etihad, declaring: ‘There was nothing else I wanted other than to join Manchester City.’

The Senegalese international has become City’s latest 2026 summer recruit, further bolstering Enzo Maresca’s exciting new-look squad after sealing a move from Everton where he has shone bright for the past few seasons.

The 26-year-old attacking midfielder/winger has signed a five-year contract, one that will keep him at City through to the summer of 2031.
