Postmatch Press Conference | Pat Noonan | 11/7/26

FC Cincinnati head coach Pat Noonan meets with the media after the club’s regular-season finale against Nashville SC, reflecting on a disappointing result and the shift in focus toward a road playoff matchup with Orlando.

Noonan discusses what worked defensively in the first half, Nashville’s second-half adjustments and the moments that stretched FC Cincinnati as they pushed for an equalizer. He also addresses the impact of other Decision Day results, the frustration of missing an opportunity to improve playoff seeding and why the group’s attention now turns to preparing for Orlando rather than evaluating the season as a whole.

The press conference also covers Teenage Hadebe's unplanned substitution because of a leg issue, managing players on yellow cards, Miles Robinson’s return to action, and the decisions behind attacking changes late in the match. Noonan closes by discussing Ayoub Jabbari’s recent contributions off the bench, the competition for places in the starting XI and the tactical balance he is looking for from his attacking group.
