Migrants face mounting pressure in South Africa and Kenya | DW News

Fresh protests organized by the anti-migration group March and March have returned to Durban, a week after violent clashes in which police fired rubber bullets and several people were hospitalized. The demonstrations target foreign nationals camped outside refugee reception offices after being displaced during earlier anti-immigration unrest. DW correspondent Dianne Hawker-Kalubi explains the situation in Durban and the broader climate facing migrants in South Africa. We also look at Kenya's decision to give undocumented foreign traders 90 days to regularize their status after President William Ruto's remarks sparked concern among Burundian residents.
